Outcomes

CASIVUS Specialty Communications believes that educational impact assessments are essential to continuing medical education. Outcomes studies tell us if educational initiatives were effective and help guide future programming.

Traditional measures of CME are quantitative reports on the number of program participants, number of credits awarded, and satisfaction surveys.

At CASIVUS Specialty Communications, we go further by conducting in-depth analyses that provide a more complete picture of a program's educational impact.

These can be as simple as pre- and post-program knowledge questionnaires. Or, up to several months after a program, we can analyze the predictive behavior of test versus control groups using patient case simulations.

The methodology of educational impact assessments are determined by a program's needs assessment and learning objectives.
